As someone interested in astrology, how does one find yours or someone else’s birth information in order to create a natal chart for analysis? Here are some suggestions for where to look.
Ask parents, family, friends or others who may have been around for the birth at the time.
Call the hospital if they still exist and ask where they keep the records.
Department of Vital Records (State or County)
Interviews
Social Media (it’s my birthday! On Facebook, Twitter (X), etc)
The comment section on articles, videos, etc.
Data brokers (this could include LexisNexis, etc)
Historical record
Birth announcements in the newspaper (especially older people)
Books, news articles, etc
An astrological database of notable births such as the Astro Databank
Example: Some years back, I was watching a video on YouTube by a popular astrologer about President Vladimir Putin and his alleged transits for the near future. A commenter advised that she was not using his correct birthday. I know from looking at historical records that past US presidents have called him on his birthday, October 7. Putin’s official biography lists his birthday as October 7 1952. I made the assumption that the date is correct but the year is in question. He and I commented back and forth and I found an article with an interview he was referencing with Vladimir Putin’s mom (allegedly). Below are a few snippets from the article:
Even though we don’t have solid proof that this is Vladimir Putin’s real mother, I’m inclined to believe her side of the story. In a future post, we will take a look at Putin’s supposed real chart and attempt to make some predictions.
